Moving and Storage in the greater Boston area poses unique challenges.  Boston is not Albany, Boise or Cleveland, thankfully.   Since Boston is not laid out like a grid like these other cities, successful moving companies in Boston cannot be "cookie cutter."

Residences in Beacon Hill, the Back Bay, the South End, Cambridge or even older neighborhoods in Newton or Wellesley for instance generally have features that require an above-average moving skill set to solve.

For example, it's not just pure strength to perform the heavy lifting of larger, specialized items like pianos, armoires or breakfronts.  Dexterity and gentle touch is required to negotiate such items through tight spaces and tight turns as well for packing fragile items such as artwork, china, and crystal.

It takes years of experience and an innate aptitude to be able to perform residential moves in the Boston market at a very high level, precisely because moving in Boston is a bevel edged process which is the price of living in a non-two dimensional venue.  Yes, the trade off's in life.
